Weights Log ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

    Weights Log is a privacy-first, offline fitness tracker. We do not require user accounts, and your workout data is stored locally on your device.

  2. Data We Collect

Personal Data Weights Log does NOT collect personal information, including:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Location

  • Contacts

Anonymous Analytics. We may collect limited, anonymous usage data to improve the app. This may include:

  • App interactions (e.g. feature usage)

  • App performance metrics

  • Crash reports

This data:

  • is not linked to your identity

  • is not used for advertising

  • is used only to improve app functionality and stability

  1. Data Storage

  • All workout data you enter is stored locally on your device.

  • We do not store your workout data on external servers.

  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

  • Anonymous analytics data may be processed by trusted services such as PostHog (analytics) and Sentry (crash reporting) solely to help improve the app.

  • These services do not receive personal workout data and do not identify individual users.

  1. Data Retention and Deletion

Data Retention

  • Workout data is stored locally on your device and is retained until you delete it.

  • Anonymous analytics data (e.g. via PostHog and Sentry) is retained only for as long as necessary to analyze app performance and improve the product.

Data Deletion

  • You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app.

  • You can also clear app storage via your device settings to remove all stored data.

  • Since no accounts are used, we do not maintain server-side user data that requires deletion requests.

  1. Security

  • Any analytics data transmitted is encrypted in transit.

  • No personal workout data is transmitted or stored externally.

  1. Children’s Privacy

    Weights Log is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

  2. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
