Weights Log – Gym Tracker Terms of Use

Welcome to Weights Log. By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Use of the App
Weights Log is a fitness tracking application designed to help users log workouts and track progress.
You may use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
The free version of Weights Log may display advertising. Advertising may vary in content, format, timing, and frequency.
An optional one-time Lifetime/Pro purchase removes advertising from the app. Lifetime/Pro is not a subscription.
2. No Medical Advice
Weights Log does not provide medical, health, or fitness advice.
Information provided through the app is for informational purposes only. You should consult an appropriately qualified professional before making decisions concerning your health, exercise, or fitness where appropriate.
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for your own health, safety, exercise choices, and actions when using the app.
You are also responsible for ensuring that exercises, weights, training methods, and other activities you undertake are appropriate for you.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage resulting from your exercise activities or your reliance on information recorded or displayed by the app.
4. Free Use, Advertising and Lifetime/Pro
Weights Log may be used without purchasing Lifetime/Pro.
The free version may display advertising provided by third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
Users with a recognised Lifetime/Pro entitlement do not receive advertising in Weights Log.
Qualifying promotional or free-pass entitlements recognised as equivalent to Lifetime/Pro are also treated as ad-free.
Lifetime/Pro is offered as a one-time in-app purchase and removes advertising. It does not require a recurring subscription.
Existing valid Lifetime/Pro purchases and qualifying promotional entitlements remain recognised subject to successful entitlement verification.
If you previously purchased Lifetime/Pro using the applicable app-store account, you may use the Restore Purchase functionality where available to restore your entitlement.
Purchases and restorations are processed through the applicable app store and are also subject to that store's terms and conditions.
5. Local Data and Backups
Weights Log primarily stores your workout data locally on your device.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of information that is important to you.
Features may be provided to export, back up, restore, or share data. You are responsible for files you export, store, transfer, restore, or share.
Uninstalling the app, clearing app data, losing or replacing your device, device failure, operating-system changes, or other circumstances may result in loss of locally stored information if you do not have an appropriate backup.
6. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Weights Log available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Features, integrations, advertising arrangements, compatibility, and other aspects of the app may change over time.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and app-store requirements.
7. Intellectual Property
Weights Log, including its software, branding, design, graphics, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to EKME Dev Pty Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, resell, or exploit the app except where permitted by law or with our written permission.
8. Third-Party Services
Weights Log may use or interact with third-party services, including app stores, analytics providers, diagnostic services, and advertising providers.
Those third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the independent operation of third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability and Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified, including rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EKME Dev Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, Weights Log.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the app, our services, legal requirements, or business practices.
When material changes are made, we may update the Effective Date and, where appropriate, provide notice through the app or other reasonable means.
